What is it with Charlton? We admire their set-up, applaud their tactics, clap the fans, salute the manager. They even hate Palace. They're just too damn likeable!

Apparently they have a growing gang of tough 'hooligans' though.

Don't know if it's been mentioned before, but what a true gent the guy is. No histrionics , approaching the fourth official, berating the ref. Applauded/encouraged his players when they made a mistake, and to top it all, waited pitch side at the end of the game to shake the hand of every Albion player, before going to his supporters.....what a glowing example to certain other visiting managers.

I totally agree with this. At one point Bridcutt did a fantastic challenge right in front of him. He applauded and said 'great tackle son'. Now that is missing from our great sport!!!!!!!

I heard Chris Powell on radio backing Di Canio for the Sunderland job,apparently they played together in the past.

They did at West Ham, and Di Canio was most Complimentary about Chris Powell at the weekend.
