Boy, I wouldn't go to see U2 if it was the Last Night On Earth.
Perhaps he was thinking of this weekends game, after all he was Raised by Wolves
Rejoice! An October Saturday Night Smile for it will be the Sweetest Thing for The Wanderer.

Not sure whether to be sad or disappointed that Chris Hughton was at the U2 gig with Andy Townsend last night. I thought our Chris might have a bit more class than being a U2 fan.

We can only hope it’s because Townsend has no mates so agreed to go with his fellow countryman

I heard Bobby Zooropa went as well.

At least it was on a Tuesday, and not on Sunday, bloody Sunday.

What a great song. It really encapsulates the frustration of a Sunday, doesn't it?

I mean, you wake up in the morning, you've got to read all the Sunday papers, the kids are running round, you've got to mow the lawn, wash the car, and you just think "Sunday, bloody Sunday"

Much more concerned that he appears to enjoy the company of Andy Townsend.

Being Irish, one might expect him to show some pride and desire to see them.

Personally, I'd have thought he'd have waited for the Dublin shows in November for a sort of homecoming.

Maybe Andy was there to do the driving? Sometimes you can't make it on your own. And he'd have felt a lemon going by himself.

Either way, I'm sure they had a magnificent time together.

When it comes to personal musical tastes, isn't it ok to just like a song?

In a pile of football shirts
At his age I think it’s perfectly acceptable to watch U2.

I really wanted to see that U2 concert also but because I suddenly felt a nasty, watery shite coming on I had to run to the loo and spend a great deal of time there.

I called it my "Me Too Movement."
