Not sure if anyone who works in the upper levels of English football these days can really be referred to as a socialist. Even mediocre players earn more in a couple of weeks than nurses earn in a year.

Not sure if anyone who works in the upper levels of English football these days can really be referred to as a socialist. Even mediocre players earn more in a couple of weeks than nurses earn in a year.

Aside from the complete immorality of football wages (which we all play our part in), I'm not sure being well off and believing in collectivised services and basic government provision are mutually exclusive. No-one is claiming Hughton is Che Guevarra.
