He is doing very well. People should take note of the difference in standard at that level, before they wax lyrical about Adam Le Fondre. Anybody paying a million or more for a striker who has only scored in Div2 is taking a massive gamble.

I hope he comes back, carrying that sort of form into a higher league and provides proper competition to Barnes and Murray.

And I think my scenario is actually more likely.

It definitely is.

Can he maintain that form if he comes back? I mean will he bring back the confidence he built there, or will he come in and think "uhoh, I never score for brighton"?

Right now could he get a place on the bench ? What a horrible place to be in

Actually, I hope he leaves and scores loads of goals for another club. Fans of this club are poisonous at best when a striker doesn't score 1 in 2 (just look at the flak Barnes gets).

He deserves to be at a club where fans appreciate him and where he can gain confidence and grow as a player without constant sniping and nastiness.

The gulf between the two divisions can't be too vast, just look at the likes of Bournemouth and Rochdale, granted Dagenham and Redbridge aren't doing so well. I hope he does bring some confidence back with him.
