Not too difficult to sign Prem team cast offs at this time of year. Signing players who will do well in the Championship is another matter

Encouraging that we're picking up young players from big Premier League clubs. This has to be the future for us until we start producing similar quality out of our academy. Bridcutt pays for an awful lot of failed young players with the money we got from Sunderland.

Seriously, Cole looks good, have seen him a couple of times. Great balance, very creative, physique he is a Scholes-esque....... By the end of the season may make the bench.
My only doubt with him are the ridiculous pink boots he wears.......

This is the key point. Every signing is a big risk but a small fee, it only takes one player in 20 - 30 to go for big money to reap the rewards of a youth system. I'm happy we've signed these two players.

Another Chelsea star? He never even started a single game for them and has amassed a total of two league appearances when out on loan to Colchester before being released by Chelsea after seven years.

They will possibly be playing against there old team mates at our the training ground tomorrow, could be a tasty friendly. There is an U18 and U21 friendlies against Chelski

Is it such a major feat to give two Chelsea cast offs one year deals, as the club will have seen some value there, as does any club when buying players? Of course there is a history of clubs, including us, buying complete turkeys, but at this stage of the season we need to be on the ball, including using every available avenue to legally apply or even circumvent FFP to gain every available advantage. Caution is fine, but let's not get left behind just to wave the 'We play by the rules' white flag...
