To the idea of them winning the title. I have to admit i wished they would fal flat on their faces after spending all that Russian drug barons cash, but having seen highlights from their games, they are a damn sight more entertaining to watch than that Arsenal team and i would rather United don't win yet another title so good luck to them.

Exactly, the Man Utd vs Arsenal game yesterday made me want Chelsea to win the league more than ever. The players at Chelsea really want to win the league, the United and Arsenal players think they deserve to win it, primadonna fucktards.

I've never had a problem with the money that Abramovic has spent, for years football has been about the money, why shouldn't Chelsae join in the fun?

Chelsae played with great style on Saturday and it was a pleasure watching them.

The longer as Lampard, Terry and Johnsen are developing at Chelsea the better as well.

Good luck to em.

It's a joke. How can Lampard/Cole/Bridge/etc improve when they're only playing every other game - Bridge wasn't even on the bench yesterday. It'll all go wrong soon, players will get pissed off with the squad rotation - probably starting with Hasselbaink.

The look on Jimmy boys face when Crespo smacked his second in was picture, as if to say "shit that was good, what about me"

Priceless

They were joking in commentary saying Jimmy would have thought that goal would have been mine!! His face was a classic at least he was miffed as he wanted to play football it is all too easy to sit back and earn gross amounts of money.

I was of the same inkling, watch them fall. However, I really really, hate Man Utd, the only player I liked is now in Spain. I used to like watching Arsenal and Henry was/is the nuts. However, him and Wenger are arrogant little wankers now who think they can do no wrong and the whole world and Saddam are against them. f*** 'em.
So, watching Chelski, Im more than happy to let them spend his millions. I actually think it done football a favour at a time when things were gonig stale. There was a good feature in the Mail last week saying where Abramhovic's money has gone. Of the 17m they gave Blackburn, they gave some of it to Milwall for Steven Reid. That in turn let Milwall sign 2 div 3 players who I cant remember therefore helpnig out those clubs, and offered a new contract to Brighton fan Paul Ifill.

Chelski are much better than Man Ure and Arse nal anyway. Besides I would rather we win it but that ain't gonna happen

I'm already as sick and tired of Chelsea as I have been of Man U for years. I don't have such a problem with Arsenal, but I'd rather any team won the premiership other than Chelsea and Manure - even Liverpool, and that's saying something! Not liking Chelsea is not a recent thing for me. They were the nearest club to where I lived in London when I was working there, but I despised them even then. Have you noticed how there are many more people wearing Chelsea shirts around now? It just shows how many people latch onto fashionable clubs when the going's good. Personally I'd like to see Abramovic grow tired of his new plaything and pull out leaving them in the lurch! It may be a sad point of view but that's how much I loathe them! Fall flat on their faces? Yes please - the sooner the better.

PS I'm surpised at a Charlton supporter not minding Chelsea. I thought they were "enemies"!

They're a class apart now though (no offence Matt). It'd be like Orient hating us...

I think the weekends events - the ManUre Arsenal fiasco - and Chelski's high-rollers thumping poor old Wolves - will do wonders for Nationwide League attendances.

When SC says that anyone in this Division is capable of beating anyone else, doesn't that...er..make it more exciting?

At that time, South Kensington then Battersea. I moved on to Teddington and Streatham. I worked in Hammersmith, then Twickenham (wasted on me as I don't like Rugby!) and used to watch QPR when I wasn't at Brighton matches - I used to come back for all the home matches though.

if roman buys more player at xmas, people obviously will move down the pecking order, and i wouldnt be suprised if one of the new players gets grumpy and then has a beckham-fergie style fight and then leave at xmas because they are never getting 90 mins!

The players will probably be chummy until some silverware is won, or a year or two down the line, whichever comes first.

Chelski have looked OK so far in the games i've seen them play this season. But not superb. They're not at ManU's level of quality yet. Don't be fooled by them looking outstanding last Saturday. It was Wolves they were playing, after all.

That's why I watched the vid of the Liverpool Leics game, because I just thought that a 5-0 drubbing would be too one-sided and therefore dull.

By the way JEM, doncha think those Floyd Rose style whammies ruin a Strat? Not great for keeping the tuning either . I don't see all that much point in a humbucking setup on the neck either, unless you get them 'out of phase' .
I understand Peter Green rewound the pickups on his Les, and accidentally re-installed one upside-down or something, and got his sound by accident.

Yeah, a strat should be left as it is - it's a classic guitar. My avatar is of an Ibanez Jem, though - designed with the Floyd-Rose in mind. They're double locked (at the bridge and at the top nut at the headstock) so stay in tune great. Pickup choice is a matter of preference, I guess.
