Essien - Dropping further out of contention with each passing season
Romeu - Super prospect, not ready for a 50 match season yet
Hazard - Super player
Mata - Super player
Malouda - Leaving when someone can pay his ludicrous wages
Ramires - Super player
Oscar - Super prospect, remains to be seens whether he is a starter or a 15-20 starter or a mainly sub
Benayoun - Leaving
Kakuta - Leaving
Mereiles - Really don't know but works well with Torres. Probably behind Hazard and Mata though
McEachran - Loan to a Prem club I think. I'd like him here and he has undoubted quality but not sure his development would be aided by a drop to the Champ
Marin - Good prospect
De Bruyne - Good prospect
Mikel - The only real DM in the squad with experience. Unless they get another he'll be a nailed on starter.

I think their midfield will be a tough selection for RDM this year. He's a lucky manager (until he's fired). You do forget though, we have:
