Just 6 weeks till my only Christmas tradition.

Go to Pallents deli in Arundel, and spend large wodges of cash on cheese, port and chutneys.
The scoff the lot in a matter of 3 days.

Fan-blooming-tastic, top work, our lord and saviour.

Where's the bit about chutneys in the bible then? ???

Mature cheddar cheese is the only way to go
Correct. As far as I'm concerned there's only two forms of cheese: English cheddar and foreign muck. And it must be MATURE, none of that tasteless mild crap, you might as well eat the wrapper.

Oh, and speaking as someone whose favorite artist is Rolf Harris I'm proud, PROUD to post on a messageboard where plastic-wrapped BabyBel is considered a 'sophisticated' cheese.

There was a WELL nice cheese what had pickled onions in it that I had a few years back, encased in green wax.

WELL nice it was.

The Sheeps cheese from Middle Farm that melts at room temperature is also a treat.
