Disrupted Trains - Brighton to Worthing due to incident at Aldrington station

I was on the 15:03 Brighton-Portsmouth train and just got back from an abortive trip to Chichester following the incident where some dickhead on the platform headbutted the front of the train and apparently walked away unscathed.

There's a pretty shitty follow-up to that incident. While the conductor was trying to sort out the signalman, the driver, the emergency services and the passengers, some low-life chancer went into the conductors box at the back of the train then, according to the conductor, rifled through the conductors bag. The vermin then jumped down onto the track from the door to the conductors box, despite a trackside rail worker telling him it was far too dangerous, then stomped off about twenty yards down the track before legging it over somebody's back garden fence. Total scum!

Haven't they been setting fire to buildings around Brighton and then nicking off with money when the buildings have been evacuated? There really are some low life pond scum around!
