last five mins have livened up, beattie almost snatched the lead from 2 yeards out but the ball got deflected behind him, charlton hit back with a quick break and corner but 'hampton cleared their lines

33mins gone, southampTON been the better side but charlTON with the better chances, no keeper really tested apart from the southhamTON after romedahls run when he showed have passed it to the big eared one!
