Good bit of business by Charlton although i am mistified as to why Chelsea let him go on loan. He'll do well at Charlton who needed a threat up front.
For Curbs' sake i hope he does well.

Hardly anything in the papers about it. Not a bad signing for us. If he links up well with Di Canio and Euell we have a good attacking threesome.

Good luck in signing Knight today

I like this bit:

Carlton will presumably team up with new Addicks signing Paolo di Canio: on paper, a rather menacing combination of guile and skill with youth and energy

That what I said to Turkey last night. lol

Got a lot of time for Charlton - the way you've gone about building the club up over the last two decades. Getting back to The Valley, the development of the ground and the way you've built a decent team from the ground up. I think the best part about it all is the way the club is run - well, and within it's means. Something I think we're doing, and doing well while we're at it. I know a lot of people will disagree, but I'd far rather be where we are now - healthy and solid with good plans for the future, than be like Derby or someone with a huge wage bill and no immediate prospects of turning things around and getting back in the divison above - unlike us, who have every chance.

In summery - Charlton (and The Albion good.)

I think he will prove to be a very good signing for Charlton.
