Can't be bothered to read the whole thread again, but wasn't today mentioned as the big day for this one?
I'm feeling lazy too.
When does this first mini transfer window slam shut? I'm pretty sure the summer transfer window is over two periods.
I'm aware they have added an extra transfer window because of the World Club Championship in the USA.

I'm aware they have added an extra transfer window because of the World Club Championship in the USA.
The first window closes next Tuesday at 7pm and remains slammed shut for a week or so before reopening on the 16th June until 1st Sept at 7pm.

I've not seen any justification for this 'Wednesday' deadline other than rumour. One might guess that Olympiacos want to get this transfer sorted ASAP so they know exactly where they stand for the rest of the window? The player seems to have a contract to 2030 which means that his agent has very little influence in getting him a move.

For what it's worth, the PX player in all this (Sima) proved himself effective in the Champions League and French league last season so would surely be very useful in the Greek League, I wonder if his situation has anything to do with the Wednesday deadline?

Olympiacos: Truths and lies about the... party of millions around Kostoulas, Mouzakitis

The red and whites know the... game well

Olympiacos has the first and last word on Charalambos Kostoulas and Christos Mouzakitis, who have become a magnet for attention with reports of teams from England and Spain being numerous.

Olympiacos has two of the biggest talents in Europe in its ranks , Christos Mouzakitis and Charalambos Kostoulas . The two 18-year-olds shone in their first season with the first team, where José Luis Mendilibar put them in the middle. There were games where Mouzakitis, Kostoulas took the team on their backs and it was impressive for two kids who went from 17 to 18 years of age, hearing their names being shouted by the demanding Olympiacos crowd in Karaiskaki and beyond. It was natural for them to come under the microscope of big European teams with the game in the transfer market being big. Olympiacos of course knows well how to move in the market as well as what amounts to ask for. The "red and white" team renewed the contracts of Mouzakitis and Kostoulas a few months ago, with excellent salaries, which are hard to find for Greek players of such ages!

Consequently, they have no reason to worry, while the most important thing for the Greek double-winning players is that both young players have not expressed a desire to transfer. They are "tied" to Olympiacos and know well that one more season, at least, with the red and white jersey, will help them develop even more, especially in the hands of the master of the genre, José Luis Mendilibar. From there, it is a given that there are teams, mainly from the Premier League, that show interest. Brighton is in the spotlight, but also the clubs from London!

Olympiacos' starting amounts for the two... diamonds

Olympiacos' stance, so far, is negative towards giving up both. Without this meaning that if an unrealistic proposal comes, it will not change the facts. This proposal for Kostoulas should be from 40,000,000 euros and above. So far, no such amount has been reached, which will not be cumulative, that is, with a bonus for achieving goals, but will be a net amount! For Christos Mouzakitis, the amount is a little below 40,000,000 euros. With this stance, Olympiacos is the one who determines what can happen with both of them, while showing that it is not willing to give them up, at least this summer.

The teams that want Mouzakitis, Kostoulas

The international midfielder, who has been integrated into the Greek national team, has come under the microscope of Atletico Madrid coach Diego Simeone, but there is no offer, while he is close to taking Betis midfielder Johnny Cardoso, while Koke has also renewed. It should be noted that Simeone has also included Santiago Esse in the frame. Beyond that, the interest of Villarreal, Girona is literary and the financial data is difficult to follow. Mouzakitis has also made gels in several Premier League teams, which have so far simply asked about their status.

And Kostoulas is very popular in the Premier League, among them Brighton, there are some moves, but that's it. It should be noted that the international striker is also liked by Bayern Munich, which has been following him since last year when he won the Youth League with Olympiacos' U19 team.

As it unfortunately happens WAY to often in Greece, that particular journalist is first an Olympiakos fan and then a journalist (and probably on Marinakis payroll as well :D )
Doesn't mean he doesn't know what teams are really interested and the ball park of the amounts mentioned, but he would try and hype the players as much as possible.
So I would take anything he says with a grain shaker box pallet of salt.

I’m rather losing interest in this one. If the Saudis are in the running: a bigger club with Champions League football on offer, he’s not coming here unless he’s the only teenager in Europe with a deep-seated interest in Middle Eastern politics and a moral compass on a par with Greta Thunberg.
