In the space of 2 weeks we’ve gone from paying £40m for a 17 year old to £30m for an 18 year old. That should make the deal a bit easier for some to get their head around!
By the time he actually SINGS, he'll be down to £15 mill :lolol:

I still have to pinch myself in how far Brighton have come from the little old club that I used to visit as a kid in my Clarks shoes on cold and wintery 1960s Saturdays to where they are now.
Contracts in those days were done over a pint of Harvey's and a packet of fags.
😂
😁
😂
The transformation is pretty amazing and sounds right for Albion but also most big clubs I’d argue but PS I’m very sceptical that that particular account has any inside knowledge at all despite giving impression it’s sharing news from inside Kostoulas camp.

Correction: surely it was a pint of Bass from the brewery in Paston Place 😂

I haven't been following the deal particularly closely... but according to Brighton Bubble, that Twitter account has been ahead of any of the established ones in reporting the whole story

So they must have some insider knowledge over what is going on. Greek football writer knowing what is happening with biggest deal in Greek football history is not quite the same as someone hearing from someone that they saw someone who looked like Kostoulas at the Marina

It’s also worth pointing out that the bloke who broke the story has previously written a few articles for WeAreBrighton. So it’s actually ‘Greek football writer who follows Brighton knowing what is happening with biggest deal in Greek football history that happens to involve Brighton’

that account didn't break the story. The first article (i think) was on May 15th in SportDog.Gr https://www.sportdog.gr/podosfairo/...on-gia-na-agorasei-ton-kwstoyla-me-poso-rekor and then David Ornstein / The Athletic the following day on May 16th. (the first post in this thread)
Ever since then new info has come in via Sky, The Athletic and then multiple outlets in the last week. There's been no new info re: schedule of transfer, fee, contract details, timetable via that account . Although they did do a good Fab Romano style mock up of Kostoulas in an Albion shirt .
Their latest post is bizarrely about Palace saying wrongly that their Europa League spot has been confirmed by UEFA (it hasn't - although there's been some new reporting on it) .
