Very true, but the question is, potential for what? To play, or buy and flip for a profit? Or loan out for repeat income loan fees like Sima and Scherpen et al.

Has a Matt Clarke feel to it

Unbelievable that some think they can write a player off from just over 18 minutes of football!
Fair comment, but a number questioned the signing in the first place, based on his Derby form.

A good preseason, get his confidence back and you never know.

Weird, there are occasional posts on this Eitan Chasing thread about some Greek kid. What's that all about?
Yeh. I'm pretty easy about giving Cashin some stick, I just don't see why it can't be done on his thread.

I keep opening to find out if there's any progress on the Greek lad

We will be lucky if Chelsea does not land this one. Kostoulas is the nr1 best young teen player in Greece at the moment. He is member of a promising new generation of players, the kids who smashed Scotland 0-3 a few months ago. The only problem is that he may find Brighton fans too...soft and quiet, compared with the madness at Olympiacos games.
I went to an Olympiacos game when visiting Athens last year and the atmosphere was pathetic. A half empty stadium for a supposedly important league match, despite them being top of the league and only a section of one stand making any noise - a similar group to the Holmesdale freaks. There's no concourse or beer available in the stadium and it was one of the most boring games of football I've ever seen. We left at half time.

I fear the 'madness at Olympiacos games' may be slightly overrated.

Half empty stands? People leaving early?

The lad should acclimatise easily

I don't know anything about this Luca Bendover chap. Is he in anyway reliable in what he posts?
He works for Sky Sports, they're reporting it on their transfer thingy. Fabrizio 'tap-in merchant' Romano will be announcing 'here we go' imminently.
