Well it would make sense if we win the replay. We would be allocated 3k of tickets for the trip to Fratton, the atmosphere would be better as far as the Brighton fans are concerned. If the tie is played at Withdean, hundreds of Pompey fans will be mixing with the home fans. A fixture at Portsmouth will be double (at least) revenue over a match at Withdean
everyones happy?

If Pompey win they progress in the competition
If we lose it will be no disgrace
Mr Poyet will be happy with his fans (cant imagine any booing) and also he would not mind losing to a team in a higher division and if we won.....happy days!
We would not really be surrending home ADVANTAGE as we seem to play better away! What do you think!

Why would the venue be changed? It's already been decided it'll be played at Withdean unless something tragic happens.

After STH have bought their tickets how does the ticket office determine that Bill Brown from Worthing supports BHA or Portsmouth and even more so Fred Smith from Chichester if they are not on the club database, which they do not have to be to buy home tickets.

Ridiculous thread. Cup games cannot be moved apart from in exceptional circumstances and if you think this game qualifies then i fear for your sanity.

Just to add some perspective Horsham hosted Swansea at Queen Street a few years ago!

Go and have a lie down

Why because you dont agree with the idea yourself? Believe me segregation will be a problem and was only testing the water for peoples opinions.....Bens Grandad has posted a couple of sensible opinions so what may be embarrassing for you may be of interest to others. Dont read the thread if its not of your high intellectual standards

We might just as well discuss whether Gigg Lane is suitable. It is embarrassing.
