Oh sorry, I thought maybe it was a nickname, 'cos you're wet and thick or something.

There have been several successful name changes, Lush was originally Croydon Seagull, Marvin is/was Timco and Centurion Seagull; also NMH tried calling himself Albatross for a while but gave up. Chemical brother has had more names than some people have posts (The Eternal Optimist being one of his more long-lived ones)

I was originally Old Fat and Bald, shortened to ofab.

Who cares?

Call yourself whatever you want, no ones bothered

The sooner the season starts the better, the number of inane, pointless and boring threads/polls is starting to get on my nerves

Yes, I know if I dont want to contribute I can ignore them (like all the polls) but this particular thread takes the gold medal prize for the worst post of the summer

Sorry Crabtree, but it is

Met Dropkick Turnip for a pint at lunch - very good bloke I might add........

Just like to say what a pleasure it was to hold the first commitee meeting of the Crabtree Turnip Punker Clique and what a thoroughly nice chap the Crabber is.

Over there.
The only thing i would say is that the first word people see is 'crab' (obv), and 'crab' has nasty sexual connotations.

On the other hand...i've got four fingers and a thumb...no, seriously, nasty sexual connotations can only add to your appeal.

Lady Jane sounds nice.

I've been thinking about it too. Not really sure about the USA bit anymore.
How does Lord Cornwallis sound ? Your correspondent from the Colonies.

Must admit, after last Saturday, I've been considering going back to Buzza because that's what everyone was calling me.

Is it easy for a mod to change your name or do you have to join all over again?

An admin can change it.

Gotta stick with Crabtree mate, glad you've decided to.

I've been considering changing mine for sometime, although I've not actually got an idea what to. Maybe something like "Paul Scholes' Evil Twin", following meeting Fatboy's Dad, but it just confuses issues. I didn't even know Ofab was now Brovian. It was probably made a big deal, but I missed it...

Yeah, keep it Crabtree. And sod the people who make that stupid joke about not cooking fish for supper because you're coming home with the crabs....

Yorkie, you'll always be "yorkie" from now on unless you combine "york" with wherever you end up down here. "Yorkhaven Seagull" has a ring to it but I'd steer clear of Shoreham.

I've decided I don't like not having a user name. Dunno whether to revert back to the original or go for something completely different though.
