Met Dropkick Turnip for a pint at lunch - very good bloke I might add - and of course the conversation was revolved around NSC, we got onto name's and how we all called each other by our screen name's at the recent meet-up.
During conversation I brought up my desire to change my name, now would this be a good idea?
Everyone knows me as Crabtree but the same applies for PC Beard...sorry Trigger :)
I'm gonna change it to another shoreham pub as its my true home from home, the Crabtree was sort of a stop over!

Anyway get voting!
Edit: also the recent wanting of NSC names on shirts leads to a better name....dont want Crabs on my shirt :D

what about calling yourself "The Duke"

its a far more fitting name, given the pubs re-opened.

You could start drinking in The Ferry and be FerryBHA (nice bit of aliteration there), or the Crown and Anchor and be C&ABHA.

Don't change it, if everyone knows you as something changing it will just confuse the issue.

Trigger only got away with it because as PC Beard he alwasy had trigger as his avatar. Meant we still knew it was him without any confusion.

Having given this a bit more thought, I reckon you should keep it. It's only a name and it's how we all know each other. God knows I'd like to change mine!

But think how much fun my NSC Name will give other people at matchdays when I've got the stripes on with my name on the back (still under consideration).

"Turnip, Turnip, give us a wave" :D :D

I have been pondering this. I started off as Yorkshire Seagull which got shortened down to Yorkie. That's what I have on my shirt.

But soon I will be living back in Sussex?? Xyorkie? Nah I'll have to stick with it I reckon
