It's got me running scared though - what with being knocked of the main board by a trivial new forum!

Wonder which will be better, Football Manager 2005 from Sigames or CM5 from Eidos? seen from the screenshots that FM2005 is similar to CM now, but with more interaction with press and players agents etc. Haven't seen the actual match engine yet, apparently FM2005 has audio commentary aswell. Could be fantastic. CM5 though? Must be better than CM03/04 and so can't go far wrong. Will I have to get both?

CM5 has nothing to do with CM 03/04. The only similarities are the name and the "look/design".
The next CM 03/04 is FM 2005.
I don't think FM has audio commentary.
You won't have to get both! FM 2005 will be the game to buy.
