It's got me running scared though - what with being knocked of the main board by a trivial new forum!

I'm investigating adding goalscorers for the next season.

Wonder which will be better, Football Manager 2005 from Sigames or CM5 from Eidos? seen from the screenshots that FM2005 is similar to CM now, but with more interaction with press and players agents etc. Haven't seen the actual match engine yet, apparently FM2005 has audio commentary aswell. Could be fantastic. CM5 though? Must be better than CM03/04 and so can't go far wrong. Will I have to get both?

FM2005 will be far better i'm sure, CM5 may look pretty but they don't have the same match engine as CM03/04 anymore as this went with Sigames to Football Manager.

I haven't played CM5 but it won't be better than FM2005.

CM5 has nothing to do with CM 03/04. The only similarities are the name and the "look/design".

The next CM 03/04 is FM 2005.

I don't think FM has audio commentary.

You won't have to get both! FM 2005 will be the game to buy.
