I always support the English team in the final, although I supported Barca in the semi because I believe that the Champions league should be contested by, erm, Champions.

Except that Barca finished THIRD in La Liga in 2008, 18 points behind Real.

Barcelona on the basis that they aren't Man U.

Also I'm detecting an arrogance amongst United fans as though this is going to be an easy match for them, because they've only seen the Chelsea games. I would love Messi to score a hat trick and wipe the smile off those plastic twats' faces!

I would love to see Messi have a better than average game at this level for a change. Disappointing in both Chelsea games imo.

This is when people say ronaldo is the better player etc. Well in both of last season's semi's ronaldo was average against Barca. He was only marked by a single player, yet when Chelsea played Barca they pretty much marked him out of the game by doubling up on him (sometimes as many as 3 players hounding him). Pretty hard for a player even with all his talent to do much in that situation.

That was why Iniesta had the ball played into him so much. Chelsea saw Messi as the real threat and made sure the ball was kept away from him as much as poss.

Good point, I'm expecting a really open game but whenever I really look forward to a game at this level it seems to turn into a tactical battle, which while absorbing is not really exciting.

Man U all the way, do it for England and the Premier League.

Man U for me, I have no affinity for either team, both play fantastic football which is a joy to watch so hopefully it will be a fantastic game 3-3 at full time and 5-4 to Man U after extra time  probably be 0-0 then.

This is also Messi's first final having missed out in 2006 due to injury, so i'm sure he's gonna want to go all out.

I hope it's an open end to end game too, as it would probably be the best final ever. If Utd go defensive though it will probably be as dull to watch as the semi's against chelsea.
