With such a gap in terms of points, there is really no way back now. Slade is in a no lose situation, which will not really give a true account of what he can do.

Is losing your job at the end of the season not a loss?! He knows that, if he makes our performances better, and keeps us up, or gets close enough to, he'll get an extension

I know results have to improve but "there really is no way back now"??? WTF?

Clearly my copy of the league table is wrong and we're 10 points adrift at the bottom. Wait ... no ... its all still in our hands isn't it?

That's crap. Still plenty to play for. It;s a tough situation but a long way from a "certainty"

39 points still to play for. A good run and we're mid table. Don't give up.

Yes, all to play for. We're neither 'too good to go down' nor is there 'certain relegation'. We're not wholly relying on other results either. It's down to the squad and to Slade in the here and now whether they get themselves out of this hole.
