I would imagine that would largely depend on where Forster ends up next season. If it's somewhere like Charlton, and the family stay in their current house, then there's no need. If, however, he moves to a club the other end of the country then yes, there's a good chance he'll be off. Still, no point worrying about it until the time comes, eh?

Hes currently not under contract and can move where ever he wants too.
im not saying hes not going to stay, but i wouldnt be suprised if he goes and follows Forster.
Mybe we can do a swap deal and bring Gus's son here who is currently at charlton.

I think there would still be compensation should he move, contract or no contract.
Forster would advise him to go to the best place for his development if that is Brighton then he will stay.
He is likely to be in some demand having played for England, so Forster will offer the very best advice and it might not include Brighton, but undoubtedly Forsters disappointment with the club would make a switch more likely than before.

depends on where forster moves really.......i think one of the reasons he came down here was to be with his family? in which case he'll probably stay fairly local
at the end of the day, forster seems to be a decent bloke and i doubt he'd jeapordise his (step) son's career just to spite the club......he obviously thought that brighton was the place for jake to learn his trade and i see no reason as to why that should change

We do not know what Forster thinks of the Brighton Youth set up, but Caskey as a promising 16 year old and is likely to have an option of a Premier League club and their Academy offering him a deal.
Whilst Forster was club captain maybe he could drive Caskeys career in a path he felt could offer success within the Brighton system but this has changed with him likely to leave.
An academy structure and its resources may look more promising now than previously.
It doesn't make him spiteful just sensible to assess what would be better for his step Son.

he could become a role model for Poyet's lad who is at Charlton already I believe
he is, i said that in a previous post.
From as i understand it he is the only under 16 who has been offered a contract who hasnt signed it yet.
from this i would take possibley 1 of two options....
1. he is waiting for a better offer in the form of another club ( nothing wrong with that, this could make or brake a career in the game )
2. he may want a longer contract than just the schorlarship which most people at his age would be offered.
either way, it would be nice to keep hold of him, as much talent comming though can only be a good thing.
Good thinking. Lets get rid of all our junior teams and rely on buying players all the time.
Let's not forget that he may also seek advice from his biological dad who was a pretty good footballer in his heyday.
