Ooo, let's see, this is the, what, nineth? tenth? thread in this ilk. C'mon Steven, you're better than that. It's getting so you know that the seemingly player contract related thread's going to be a rubbish thing l(ike the rubbish thing you just posted) before you even open it.

At least with Easy 10 (sometimes) you have to wait til the second paragraph beforwe the punchline kicks in.

Fuckit. Think i'll stick to the BB7 thread til the world Cup kicks in. Cos it's getting to be PANTS around here

What? If the title had read 'Carpenter's release' you could have grounds for believing the thread was about the Albion player. As no apostrophe is present, you only have yourselves to blame for getting taken in.

An elegant defence, but it doesn't work for those of us who just thought you were being an illiterate xxxx.

Has anyone else heard Green on Red's version of Rainy Days & Mondays? If that version doesn't get you crying into your beer you have no soul. As for illiterate xxxxx, since when has xxxx been spelt xxxx? Oops! you've got me at it now.

BEHAVE! Safeway's WAY better than that. you know that. I know that.
And there's all these rubbish threads that ain't even inventive anymore like 'Open This To See A Wet Pussy' threads. Oooo, wonder what I'll see when I open that one. A cat immersed in water perchance?

Like I say, Safeway's better than that. you are too, normally. What's to have a pop about? ???

sorry sir

DAMMIT MAN! While I was busy editing my argument, you were busy apologing, albeit possibly in ironic mode. I too can only apologise

Tho not to STEVEN - who is possibly big enough and certainly ugly enough to know better :salute:

Anyway back to the subject in hand.

Goodbye to Love wins it hands down. The guitar solo in that song is just breathtaking.

:)

Au contraire, Richard and Karen's lushly orchestrated cover of Burt Bacharach's 'Close To You' gets the vote. Sad to report, did once actually see R&C live at Hammersmith Odeon. 1928 I believe it was.

She had a good voice but their stuff was too syrupy for my taste.
