Carpenter backs young-gun Robinson

Brighton's Richard Carpenter believes youngster Jake Robinson can go all the way after making an impact against Forest Green on Monday.
The 16-year-old sealed Albion's progress in the LDV Vans Trophy with a tap-in two minutes from time to secure a 2-0 victory.

"It's one that he will remember for the rest of his life," Carpenter told the club's official website. "I think that he's got a massive future ahead of him.

"He's training with the first team now and he is showing that he has got great potential."

Didn't he turn down a move to Palace a couple or so years back?

Yep and scored against them in a reserve match.

Already an Albion legend.
