Did Mcghee have to sign both of the French Wingers?

Could the money spent on one of them have been better spent on a striker?

Is it a waste to have a winger in Carole that can not Cross?

No, not at all.

This was there first full season in English football and they improved at the start of the season. They both look slightly jaded and could do with a rest.

According to the football league website, which seems to be reasonably accurate they have scored 5 between them and created 9. Not bad going for a relegated :( team.

Not a waste of money, in my eyes.

I think the pitch is too long for Carole - seems to look good up to about 30 yards out then does nothing! Would be a useful indoor 5 a side player, not really up the physical outdoor English game.

Haven't yet worked out what Frutos does!

I think its to short, if it were longer than he would have 6 players to take it round and put a cross in rather than having to turn back and take it round the same 3 again.

Wingers are always condifence players so as the season has gone on their form has dipped.

Both will be great in League One I expect

Both were brilliant at the beginning of the season but have lost form towards the end, no way were they a waste of money.

I also agree, both came on yesterday and it made absoloutly no difference whatsoever.

Quite. They came on at the stage when both Brighton and Wednesday were hoofing it in the air, and we all know that Carole and Fruity are not equipped to use their heads.

If anything we should have started with them, and then replaced them if we needed an aerial bombardment of Sheff Wed.

totally agree, no way these guys are a waste, perhaps McGhee needs to learn how to best employ them if they are both around next season...

i appreciate people's comments about Carole's crossing, but it strikes me sometimes hes trying to find the perfect ball in rather than just lumping it into the box, where with strikers like CKR, Gatting etc we are never going to win it against some of the cavemen that play CB in this league...

To be fair his perfect ball, rarley beats the first man, or it goes out for a throw on the opposite wing.

have you never seen them play? they are too lightweight, carole had one decent game for us (palace away) f***ing timewasters-

will be even more useless in league 1.

I have been to most games this season at home and only Reading away :( (Good choice that one!)

Yes they are lightweight, but they have served a purpose and score or created 14 goals between them. Our distribution to the wings has not been fantastic and their distribution, in turn has not been fantastic. But I wouldn't say they are a waste of money. They will improve! (I hope) They are both only 23 and this has been a difficult season for all concerned.
