Once again i'm really sorry for upsetting people on NSC. My brother has autism and his medication just doesn't seem to be working now. I just want to give him a hug and take away the pain he goes through but it's impossible.

I have so much respect for people who take on these kinds of jobs - and can easily imagine that there's a limit to your personal resources. When the job finally does you in, it must be difficult to find something else - do you get much help? In an ideal world it ought to be a bit like coming out of the army - and you ought to get assistance to retrain IMHO.

i was sick for some time, returned to workplace as an info and support centre manager.was ill again last november till now and have been adised that i will not be returning to work in near future. physical and emotional probs. i worked n mental health, young persons care hhomes, homeless, addiction for 9 years and with category one offenders resettlement in community. those on license for murder and also those on sex offenders register. my daghters murder 3 years ago was the catalyst to where i am now,

must say i am not angered by the thread as i can empthice with Durlstons feelings of helplessness and wanting to kick out and aportion blame. am thinking of you Durlson and wish you all the best.
