OK folks. In order to try and stem the fears of not getting tickets I've had the appropriate "speaks" with the club (MP) and can now post this statement:

£46 tickets are SOLD OUT

£40 tickets WILL SELL OUT TODAY - given the number of people CURRENTLY in the queue

There are plenty of £32 and £24 tickets and there will be PLENTY available on sale TOMORROW.

Final "official"advice?

"Enjoy the Cup Final and don't dash down to Withdean or the Club Shop today because you WILL GET TICKETS TOMORROW"!

Hope this helps.

Thanks for that ,the problem is people post about selling out then more people join the already long queues.

Well done Roz

Can this be a sticky?

I reckon postal applications will be dealt with separately.

We're all going to get in folks. Don't worry :)

Sorry, Nobby, I can't speak for postal applications. I was mainly trying to dispel the pessimism and panic on here (and in the queue!) but if I get any more information I'll let you know. However, I think Yorkie's probably got it right!

(and while never panicking myself, of course, *ahem* I shall now go and order the new "perfick for the Millenium Stadium" lens from Messrs Jessop!!):lolol:

That's Kevin's OPINION but the message at the top of this thread is based on FACT. And comes directly from Martin Perry who checked out the real situation before phoning me.

Just managed to get through to the club shop

They are processing postal applications now, but can't check if specific applications have been processed.

This means I have no idea if I am going to get tickets and its too late to drive down to Brighton to get in the queue before the office closes.

I will be up at dark O'clock tomorrow to drive down but maybe they will all have been sold out.

I have to say as a regular AMS supporter, that if I don't get tickets it will leave a very sour taste.
