BARNSLEY Football Club can today confirm that striker Michael Boulding has joined Championship side Cardiff City on loan until the end of the season.
The 29-year-old arrived at Oakwell in January 2004 after a protracted transfer from Grimsby Town but made just six first team appearances before a knee injury ended his campaign in early March.
The former Aston Villa star returned to the side at the start of the 2004/2005 season and has featured 31 times for the first team, netting ten goals along the way. Michael is out of contract in the summer and could make his Bluebirds debut at Plymouth Argyle on April 2, 2005.
He has netted ten goals in 37 first team appearances for the Reds.

They also signed Neal Ardley today.
