As i understand it originated from one incident and the 'van' driver seems to have wreaked havoc in his failed attempt to escape.

7 of the injured were children.

"Ely sub-postmaster Shady Taha, 29, had just served two girls and a young woman moments before one of the hit-and-runs in Grand Avenue, immediately outside a row of shops.

Local residents say pedestrians were deliberately targeted
He said the two girls aged about 10 and a woman in her mid-20s had been browsing the birthday cards in the store before buying a jar of coffee and leaving.

He said: "All of a sudden I heard a bang. I looked out and across the road one girl was on the floor and the other girl was screaming.
"
The sick *******!

In case anyone is local, the local NHS are desperate for O-class blood due to this.

Havent seen an apology from Everest yet.

Because I haven't been back on here until now.

Yes, I did make a mistake. I apologise to all who was offended.
Maybe a mod can take the pic down.

Count me in on that as well. Sorry to all. I've asked for my post to be deleted. Does a mod have to do that or can I?

How about you both just leave the board in disgrace and never, ever show your faces here again?

Seconded.

At the time, the post from Everest was very funny. Now more details are known, he has apologised and was clearly sincere. No problem, he did the dignified thing immediately and there's no issue.

Tragic story, there are some really messed up people out there.

Really? Do we need a binfest over someone apologising?!?!?! Everest has aplogised. Move on nothing to see here.

Hope the pillock van driver gets locked up for good and is forced to face the families of those he's hurt.

I'll let that slide as you've obviously never done something that turned sour later on.

RIP Karina and all the best for the injured.

Is this for real?, someone's made a pub style unfunny smart arse comment without really thinking and they need to be tarred and feathered? If there are any relatives of the victims on here then personal apologies are in order, but i'd bet there are not, so ignore them and move on, I had a young nephew killed when he was run over when he was 19, am I offended? I'm more offended by the do gooders fighting someone elses battle on here. Some on here need to get off their cross

That's a ridiculous over reaction. They apologised and tbh when they posted what they did they obviously never realised the seriousness of the incident. "oh look at how morally correct I am"
They said sorry, they are not public figures begging for your forgiveness.
