I agree entirely. Let's not forget that most young players make mistakes from time to time, as we all do every occupation. Dan will learn from his mistakes as he matures and I have no doubt that he will be playing in the premiership in 2-3 years' time.

At the risk of stating the obvious, the club should only sell Harding is they really have to....and then for no less than £500K. We must make sure that we are not short changed just because we are short of funds although I recognise that the recent Appeal Fund makes this very difficult in practice.

Hang on a minute, I recall reading a quote from MMcG where he said that he was trying to build a team of young players who would really begin to perform in about 18 months time, surely Harding is part of his plan, why should we sell him. Dan Harding is one of the players I am hoping to see vying for a place in the Premiership (with the Albion) when we get to Falmer, I say keep him.

If we sell him now, we could re-sign him on a free when he is that old! :jester:
