Life just goes from bad to worse.........

My car, parked legally (Police have confirmed), has been written off by some old bugger who has blamed his wife because she didn't tell him it was in the way......... (he's partially sighted!!!!!!!!)

What the fcuk is going on?

And to rub salt into the wounds..... I was selling it, just got an offer for £2k, and was collecting the readies this weekend.

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!

People should pay attention on the roads...........when I was 19 I got hit head on at Sayers Common on the old A23 by someone who fell asleep at the wheel and careered over the central reservation. Brighton were playing Liverpool the next day at the Goldstone, losing 3-2 in extra time. Of course I went, a bandaged head and broken breastbone weren't goin to stop me after that terrific match at Anfield...........but in a wheelchair, thus completing my tour of watching a Brighton match from EVERY stand of the ground because I was in the disabled stand! Not many can claim that I reckon and it was good of the club to swap my North Stand ticket for the wheelies!

Anyone else been to games with injuries, all in the name of "Duty"?!!

Can't top that but I did once fly from Austin, Tecas and went straight from the airport up to Rochdale for an evening game.

What's the problem here? You just pick up your £2k from the insurers now instead of who you were selling it to!

You honestly think the insurers will pay anything like £2000 ?

If you think that's bad! I've got some white van driver trying to claim £550 off me after he drove into to back of my car!!!

I was turning a corner in a Supermarket car park but had to stop as a woman had positioned her car on my side of the road I was turning into (she was about to turn right) mean while impatient van drive tried undertaking me and the side of his van scraped along my bumper. He had I nice gash down the side of the van and I had a slight scuff on my bumper. I couldn't be arsed to claim off him as I've got virtually no damage to my car and it would be more hassle than it's worth with Xmas and moving house etc. So to get out of jip with his bosses he's said it was my fault! Not sure how he worked that out! So I'll be claiming stress off his u#insurance now :) ight!

Yes! If you had an agreed price for the car before it was hit then what better proof do you need for the insurers that that is it's worth! easy.

Well, last summer Mrs BHA backed her car into a Firebird (you can't see the damn things as they're so low). She chipped the paint (or so she thought) off the blokes front (it has no bumper). Well, over there any collision you have as to be reported to the Police. The police turn up and decided that as it was only a scratch then insurers need not be involved. We told them to get a couple of quotes and waited for them to call.

We then got a bill for a rebuild of the whole front end of the car ! We passed it straight on to our insurers who point blank refused to pay as they'd had the work done without it being checked by anybody. The guy then tried to sue us. We had a cast iron case but, thanks to the Police report the insurance company complained to the police who followed it up with the other bloke being done for attempted fraud !
