A vehicle has driven on to a crowded pavement in New York City's Times Square, reportedly killing one person and injuring several others.

TV coverage after London showed Times Square as the safest place to be. Lots of police and barricades.
Not seen coverage yet but surprised if a car got through.

Although witnesses reported to have said that the drivers actions were intentional and drove against the traffic and onto the pavement before striking the pedestrians.
