I drove down to Brighton on Monday. The day after one of our greatest triumphs.

I noticed one car with a Brighton AND an England flag. The rest were England.

Mind you the Brizzie fans were very patriotic, judging by the numbers wearing red England shirts last Sunday.

I had an Albion flag but it disappeared on the way to Wrexham. It was getting a bit threadbare. They are ok at slow speeds but fray if you do too much speed with them.

I bought a new one after we won the penalty shoot out which lasted until Monday. It flew off the car somewhere outside of Cuckfield after we had been to the County Fair.
It is probably in a ditch or hedgerow right now.

I wouldn't bother with an England flag.

I has one out of my car 2 years ago for the World Cup and was undecided whether I looked like a cool dude or a knob.

However I have decided to flag and BHAFC and England flag in combination.

Bit cheesy but also a bit of fun every two years. Why not show a bit of patriotic fervour.I put mine on the car up to Notts County on the day of the egg chasing world cup final got loads of smiles and thumbs up etc,why not it's a laugh.

A lot of these flags are from scummy people who live in Brighton who bought them from JJB sports (Yes that one!) whilst wearing their Man U, Arsenal or Chelsea shirts. You should support the country you come from but also the city/county you come from.

Saying all that my 3 year old spotted one the other day and now wants one so you never know!!!

Anyone know what speed they snap in half?
Quite a few on the M4 on Sunday

The sticker on the Albion ones says not to be used over 70mph.

We did a constant 80 - 85 all the way to Cardiff and back without snapping the very flexible plastic stick - but the stitching came undone on one of them (mine), though the other one is fine (Louise's).

I have an England plate on the front of my van [number plates only compulsory on rear of vehicle in N.C.]
I don't know how many times I've explained the difference between the flag of St George and the union flag to the yanks. I've also had Denmark, Switzerland and Norway offered as well as the red cross. I'm sure they think it's a bloody ambulance I'm driving :shootself
As for the flags, go for it, it's a bit of fun.
