:D To be fair, my information was not incorrect, but only gave half of the longer route. If you fancy the scenic route, that is the best bet.

Racist pictures? Me? Never! :jester:

That goes from Waterloo to the City...nowhere near the Only Pub In London Which I Want To Knock Down

I think if the Thameslink 2000 (hmmm, more like 2012 now) proposals go ahead, the only pub in London will be knocked down:angry: , which will lead to more of you discovering the Seagulls over London secret hide-out. We can't have that happening, can we?

... and probably an hour late by then.

Jubilee every time - except today of course, when it was totally knackered and took me 40 mins to get to the Wharf from London Bridge - but to be fair that is my worst journey since we've been here, it's normally v.good. 1 train every 2 mins at peak.

I heard the staff barking into their two-way radios about a woman being taken ill on a train. I think that must have been the reason. The Eastbound was knackered, but Westbound seemed to be fine and wasn't as full as normal.

Does the riverboat still run? takes about 50 million hours longer and the queues are often dreadful...but its quite a pleasant way of getting to thewharf if the Jubilee Line is down...

Possibly, but that wasn't the reason that was given. They said a train had to be taken out of service following a signal failure at West Ham. I actually wasn't that bothered, as I say the service is normally very good - but more information would be useful.

Hey J. I used the boat just before Crimbo getting to near Westminster. Was pretty good really - unfortunately it was dark. Bet it's fun in the summer.

Last time I used it was a tube strike I think....It was good in the summer, and it was only a quick walk from CSFB, although the queue was enormous as it was the only way back for the majority of commuters!!
