I have been told that when you put a label that you have created ie an Avery one, on a cd ( ie a burned one) it will not play in a car stereo.

Has anyone else had this problem?

No smart arse answers about making sure you label the right side please.

Depends on the CD player I would guess. From what I have heard the problem is that unlike a normal CD player a car cd player as little if any space around the CD (to stop it jumping out of place while moving). If the lable gets caught it will stop it playing.

stick on labels for CD's are a bad idea, always best to use a CD Marker Pen or proper CD label printing gizmo. As above the paper can get caught and overtime will start to come away thus resulting in annoyance.

Have you turned the player on?

Seriously Dave, I haven't had any problems with mine. Saying that, I now use printable CD's anyway.

I dont bother with stickers, just use a marker pen

having said that the info is a film printed on the TOP of the disc and scrathces very easily in the car, therefore a sticker is a good idea from a protective point of view.

ooh the Dilema ! :lolol:
