Yes i can , the club haven't a clue - Marketing master DK at the helm .

Would it not be better to write to DK on this matter, rather than simply just 'writing him off'? You can't force schools to come to the football, believe it or not.

Most league clubs don't sell out. Most Premiership clubs don't sell out. There must be a lot of useless Chairmen eh?

Why don't you set up your own marketing company and go around the country's football clubs getting them to sell out. You obvioulsy think it's easy so go and earn yourself a fortune!

Easy drop the prices - get cheap tickets into schoolls in the area and lay on a few coaches - the cost in that is minimal compared to potential future reveune that could be earned.

Short term pain long term gain - something they seem to know little about.

Exactly isn't it better to get kids in for nowt or a quid or two than have empty seats and if you then sell a programme or shirt off the back of this then you have made something - why have empty seats.

I'm very interested in how the club would 'target' schools.

Can you please tell me what that entails?
Do you think canvassing with leaflets will work?
Instead of players training (and kids taking class), maybe visiting classrooms to hold up or give away footballs to the kids who aren't interested enough in BHA?

Apparently you have a clue - so please share ?

Thanks in anticipation, because this is an exciting subject if you can enlighten everyone.

Here goes-

Currently there is a major obsession with obese kids and healthy eating combined with exercise something apparent kids don't do or now anything about.

So get someone at the club - i'd even do it for them free of charge to write to the local county and borough councils in teh catchment area - to sponsor in some way either by helping with cost or providing Albion related incentives ( free tickets, tarining sessions with players to be won) to coincide with the council/educaction departments projects to encourage and implement new sports programmes in schools as well as promoting healthy eating.

If need be get all the schools involved in a big county wide competition with the winners geting sports equipment - trips to the Withers etc etc.

West Sussex = Portsmouth stronghold nowadays.

West of Littlehampton i would agree - and the longer Pompey stay in the prem the further this will stretch along the coast.
