Can we have a 'Cut n Paste' forum?

To be honest, I can see sense in both Marvin's and Safeway's arguments. There is no point in completely copying news articles that we're all blatantly going to see anyway, for example the news that Coppell "is torn", which was everywhere.

However, with any news articles that the poster thinks may be of interest to other users, but that probably wouldn't be seen otherwise, I don't see a big problem.

OK would you like to point out where exactly I have cut and pasted a whole report.

What I actually put was a link to where the article can be found with a comment on what the article was about.

Information Safeway, I let others make their own minds up as to if its interesting to them or not. But I would have thought, an ex Argus reporter who has killed himself after being caught out making things up would be significantly ironic for some.

If you don't like reading something - don't! I was told this on the "wanking thread" and although I disagreed with it, I suppose they were right. It doesn't take much to ignore a post and go onto the next one.

At the end of the day if a cut and paste story is being posted cant it be prefixed with.............

in the same way that off topics are

That way you can switch off to anything you want.
Just a thought, it works well on other forums I go on (non-pornographic).
