Can we get one thing straight?

I keep on seeing people saying that the 'gem of a signing' or 'gem of a player' is yet to be confirmed, especially after the the Crofts signing was confirmed.

However when Gus was interviewed when he referenced the 'gem signing', he meant in the same way with what happened with Vicente, where he wasn't one of our transfer targets, but he just became available because of his release.

So in conclusion we aren't seeking this supposed 'gem signing', but if someone becomes available that we could sign (like Vicente) then we would pursue him.

Just had to get that off my chest, as it was starting to annoy me. Rant Over.
