That's good. Leicester wear themselves out on a cup run and mess up the division.

Fair play Leicester, they looked a liberated side out there tonight, second half especially. We weren't up for it enough, fairly depressing for such highly-paid and talented players. D'oh.

Suddenly I hope the new Wembley isn't finished on time after all, however...

Ah well. Must make sure we get that fourth place then. Somehow.

After all, we're a league side not a cup side... ???

This game and many others this weekend, just go to show what the FA cup is all about, "Drama, Excitement, Committment and most of all Underdogs" Well done to all the smaller clubs that have either won or got yourselves a replay, its well deserved

like Chris Coleman said, his team went out there expecting to walk through it and would be able to bang the goals in, how wrong!

Him and Toad are locked in discussions searching for a way to blame McGhee for their defeat...

Well, quite...

We set Yeates to you last year, a potential Theo Walcott-in-the-making...

And yet, having returned to us, tonight he was nowhere to be found in our hour of need...

Mcghee.
You bastard.

I'll answer that fully in five years' time...

(PS Pedants: The 2001 stage of the 'year-ending-in-one' routine was naturally thrown off-skew by having a Gooner rattlebones in charge at the time, sort of like Ronnie Kray sneaking his way in as Metropolitan Police Chief Commissioner or somesuch...)

But anyway...

So, Brighton...
Step it up, lads... :(

I mean, my Coventry-dwelling ex-girlfriend is doubly taking the piss tonight. And she knows nowt about football.

Now I ponder on it, we were perhaps more perfectly suited than I truly appreciated at the time...

No, the 'Year-ending-in-one' rule still applies and will still work for Spurs ..... it's just that the year has to START with '1' as well.

Some of us will, of course, will just be satisfied with Spurs playing in Europe next season and the Woolwich scum winning nowt.
