Does it mean I come down, stay overnight get a lift to Cardiff, and then back, remember I live in Northern Sussex. Does that mean I just pay the fare to Brighton? Sorry if I have got it wrong?

No luck, and I can't get tickets to Cardiff via train. Does it mean getting a ticket to Paddington then get a ticket to Cardiff from there?

Sorry strike95. What I meant was if you can get a lift from wherever to Cardiff, and you get dropped off in Brighton you can stop at mine overnight.

I'm going up on the special train from Hove, and I know all the tickets have gone, and we haven't got any spare. Otherwise that is the best help I can offer.

You need to find someone to drive you home unless you want to stay the night in Cardiff.
