Paraguay 4 +2

=Italy 2 0
=NZ 2 0

Slovakia 1 -2

Outstanding games:
Italy v Slovakia
NZ v Paraguay

A win for NZ sees them qualify. A draw for them would see them qualify unless Italy win or Italy draw and score more than NZ.

WHAT a story that would be.

Fixed.

I can't see NZ scoring more than a single goal against Paraguay. They've been quite lucky to score what they have scored. Which is more than England.

I thought they would sneak a point, they could have 6.

I thought against Slovakia they were the better side for large parts and Chris Woods could have sneaked a late winner, and it took a dive to get Italy a point.

Surely if New Zealand draw and Slovakia win, Slovakia go through?

Probably not, and Italy will probably qualify with only 3 points. It does throw up the potential for drawing of lots if the get the same score and result in their game against Paraguay as Italy do in their last game.

Who knows? Paraguay have had an easy ride so far, and may take their eye off the ball. The kiwis play a long ball game, perhaps the Parags don't like it up em.

Justing needing a win over Paraguay already qualifies this World Cup as an outstanding success for NZ.
