Fully expecting this to be one the most overwhelmingly one sided polls ever, but.....Can England bat all day for day 5 and get a draw out of this test match ?

Personally, not a snowballs chance in hell.

Everything is possible, but I reckon it is unlikely, we would probably have to rely on that well known twelfth man "Extras" and the thirteenth man "Rain" to get anywhere near a draw.

If we hadn't already lost 5 wickets then there could be a chance, but not with the lower order coming in we aint!
Agreed, if we had gone in 4 down I'd have said it's possible, but I think not now. Still, at least we've regained some pride.

Bit of rain overnight, delay start for an hour or so, couple of hours for Pietersen to get his 150 then rain again in the afternoon, ruining our run chase. No probs, I'll take the draw.

It is extremely unlikely. However, all things are possible. Pieterson and Jones are exceptionally talented batsmen when on form and Giles can stick around when he puts his mind to it. Couple that with McGrath getting a bit tired, bless, it is not beyond the realms of possibility. I would laugh myself to sleep if we did do it. Our motivation has to be to make the smug Aussie retards regret forever the contempt they have shown us; did you know they'd already given all the stewards the fifth day off? Ha ha.

If collingwood hadn't tried to smash warne for his century, then him and Pietersen would still be in now. They looked completely untroubled by anything the aussies could throw at them. As it is, KP and jones will have the new ball to contend with in the morning, even if they can get past that I still can't see us lasting all three sessions
