Contrary to the previous replies, I do not believe we have a definitive answer to this.
What I do know* is that we have NOT paid a loan fee for his services. Some have suggested that if you do pay a fee, it bestows stronger 'rights' on the receiving club.
Many have stated that a season long loan can only be terminated early if ALL parties (both clubs and player) agree to do so.
its all about rules of registrations. paying a fee is pretty irrelevant, it becomes a matter of costs if someone wants to buyout such agreements, the rules around registration are firm. so either there is a rule (someone before stated there is) or there isn't.
How long is his contract with Bournemouth? Is it possible that we could buy him, or would that eat too much into the budget, for a striker with pace?
signed 3 years deal in Aug 2015, for £4m, so 18mth left and lets face it at 33 not likely to cost more than £1-2m. and if he wants it to happen, wages can be lower and signing on fees waived.
