Come on, put your mind to it!!.. you can come up with something much more offensive than that, surly!

Why not come up with a random profanity, or maybe question my sexuality? I sure that's alot more offensive than accusing me of trying to help out another club.

Now go away, have a think, and give it another go!

Why would i do that? You dont really care about sexuality as long as its a fan of another club you are happy

lets get behind Cambridge they need the most help in the leagues at the moment more than us at least or short term life is certain:angry:

Very true.

Its a shame Goeballs had to hijack a good thread with his rant at everyone going up to Cambridge.

Ignore TLB, it makes life easier.

Sorry, the first time you attempted to say it, I found it difficult to understand due to the lack of any kind of spelling/grammer check.

I do hope that's deliberately ironic ... ;)

You don't think Premiership clubs are real clubs. Interesting. So what happens if Albion go on an incredible run like Palace did last year, make the play-offs, and get promoted to the Premiership? Would Brighton then cease to be a real club?

Beginning to think we have far to many alto ego's on here who think they can save every club, and also make themselves to be the best fans in the world.

Let cambridge sort there own problems out!
If you people want to throw away hard earned money on hopping around the country attempting to save the world then you go for it,but boy what a waste of time and money.:drink: :shootself

What exactly has caused them to be in the mess they are? If it's Wrexham-type problems, I'm sympathetic, but if it's overspending etc, that's a little different ...

Enlighten me, please! I'm sure this has been extensively covered in another thread, but I'm far too lazy to search for that.

This comes from a story in either the Guardian or the Independant (can't remember which) a couple of weeks ago:

"It seems to be a well-run club that could survive and prosper in the Conference and return one day to the League. But if Cambridge go down, they go out of business. From a position of relative financial stability only a few years ago, they ran up debts of £1.5 million. Ill-advised borrowing against a ground redevelopment that never happened and a failure to adjust when ITV Digital pulled the plug on its television deal with the Football League are the main reasons for their financial troubles.

A difficult decision was taken to sell the Abbey Stadium for £1.9 million to a property company owned by one of the directors, using much of the money to repay debts and the rest to keep the club going to the end of the season. Given this background, United’s future would be difficult even if they remain in the Football League. But Gary Harwood, the club’s chairman, has given warning that United would be history if they go down. It means that one of the most prosperous cities in the country could not just lose its League football team but that it would go out of existence."

Been in touch with the guys at Cambridge Fans United over the past couple of weeks.

They are now arranging the Fans United 2005 day for their home match to Wycombe on Saturday 19 March.

I know quite a lot of Seagulls said they wanted to go (Brighton don’t have a game that weekend) and that Wrexham had almost filled a bus for it (they are away at Swindon that day, so quite understandable they’d prefer Cambridge!)

The capacity of the Cambridge ground is about 10,000 and I know the organisers are hoping for a good show and loads of publicity. With relegation to the Conference on the cards, administration beckoning and no ground, they know they could fold this Summer.

Be great if we can get loads of Blue and White stripes there and make a BIG noise – also a great chance to catch up with our friends from Wrexham.

Well whoopie do, another lame-duck team for the PC brigade to get their knickers in a twist over! :censored:
