Calling all plumbers! How much to install a washing machine?

when you order it you pay £20 for it to be delivered, fitted and the old one taken away.

Regards the plug being wired , some are wired into a fused spur which is above the work top to you can isolate without pulling the machine out, but if you cut the plug off it invalidates the washing machine warranty.

Worth paying the £20 to get the old one taken away and the new one delivered.
But the delivery driver/assistant are not plumbers and will only connect to decent plumbing, I often get called to fit a new valve and cap off the old hot valve because the delivery people can't do this.

I am also in need of a plumber - got a copper pipe in airing cupboard (think its to do with water going to the shower). Seems to have started to leak very slightly, been told it is a very quick and easy job but I don't have the tools myself.

Anyone know a reasonable plumber who wont charge over the top?

hopefully with standard hot/cold connections.. Does power source need to be hard wired to mains, or a normal plug?
