Inigo Calderon believes Albion should be proud of their performance at Derby.
But the left-back was disappointed not to secure three points after they led twice.
The Seagulls were closing in on the points until Chris Martin converted a late penalty.
Calderon admitted: “After we were 2 -1 up and they scored in the last four or five minutes you always feel disappointed.
“But I think the way we played here and the way we adapted to the game was something to be quite proud of.
“I don’t know if it was a penalty, I want to see it again.
Rams fans expressed frustration at their side’s build-up play at times as Albion proved hard to play through.
But Calderon thought it was a good quality contest.
He said: “I think it was a good game to watch. Maybe fans wanted us to play a bit more risky or play forward.
“But I thought it was a good game of football. I enjoyed it.
“There were two good teams on the pitch.”
