Been away for a bit sorry for going over old ground but it may well be that Mr Forster is soon to be on his way.

He's not being picked and not being allowed to go on lone to anyone Albion consider a threat/rival (pretty much everyone in L1 then). He's been 'allowed' to talk to 2 northern clubs and Colchester.

Roughly 100 games/50 goals. Works his bloody backside off every week. Well liked by all. Experienced. Injury free this year. Top scorer. A toch of real class. Wants to stay. Doing his coaching badges.

He's not a 22 year old with no ties. He's 36, has 3 kids and unless the wage stuctures gone out the window, a mortgage too. What bloomin' use are clubs in Yorkshire?

Seriously, the way he's being treated as a disgrace. Doesn't bode well for the future. Gus Poyet is many things but Capello/Morinho he is not. Surely he needs to respect what this bloke has done in his time here. Play him or let him go wherever he can. Be sad to see a class act leave like this.

Colchester on Monday night. They might have a new striker come Tuesday.

He's not being picked?

He played in the last game but one, at Charlton.

Not being allowed to go on loan to a rival.

I should bloody well hope not.

Well liked by ALL

Is that right?

The way he's being treated is a disgrace

Things could have been done a lot better, but similarly, the way he has behaved is a disgrace.

He's 36

Yes, yes he is.

So Gus has to change a successful formation to accommodate Fozzi. A formation he discovered at the time Fozzi was putting his toys back in the pram. Bench.

Hi Nicky, hope you are well. Interesting FIRST post.

For the last 3 seasons I think you have been a fantastic player for the club and, this season's blip aside, a 100% model professional.

Despite some appalling performances by the team in that time, you have maintained very high standards throughout, and your all-round game has been superb. Your goals record has been superb as well.

In recent games you perhaps haven't played as well (Villa Park for example where you were abysmal), maybe a little unsettled because of the contract issue, and perhaps age is finally catching up with you.

You are not currently in the starting eleven, primarily because we are playing a 4-5-1 formation which is working brilliantly, and Glenn Murray (ya know, that fella you call a c*nt if he dares to misplace a pass to you) is the natural choice as the "1" for several reasons, most of which are so obvious they don't really need explaining so I'm not gonna bother.

Kind Regards,

Sam.

Interestingly Nicky, what do you suggest as an alternative to the current situation?

Presumably, it is out of two options;

1) Let you go to a League One rival on loan (What kind of stupid f***ing decision would that be?)

2) Rip up a formation that has brought us a draw away at Leeds, a win away at Charlton, and the first home win since November.

And you always came across as one of the brighter, more articulate footballers......:facepalm:

Nicky or his agent - welcome to the board. Just fyi - not sure you're handling this all that well. You've been great, but this approach isn't doing you any favours.

Ah, you're going with agent? You might be (and I bloody hope you are) right. It would make sense for a football agent to come up with such a c*ntish and deluded first post.

My advice Nicky, would be keep on giving it 100% every training session and match and make it impossible for the club to not renew your contract. If you don't get the contact you desire, then your performances will make you a much sought after player with almost every club below the Prem.

Yeah, I reckon it's his agent - or whoever it was who released the 'news' that Forster had been put on the transfer list. Means Forster can keep a bit of distance between him and what's being put around on his behalf.

Anyway, 'Jamie', if you are Nicky's agent why don't you do the job you're paid to do which is look after your client? I'm sure you've got loads of contacts so why don't you sound them out and see if any clubs would be interested in signing Nicky when his contract expires in the summer? Then if the Albion DO want him and in the meantime you've also got some interest from say Orient or Barnet then Nicky will be in the position of being able to pick the offer that's best for him.

In the meantime let Nicky get on with the job he's being paid to do and let Poyet get on with the job HE'S paid to do - which is to make decisions that not everone may agree with.

I reckon it's Mrs.Forster. There's a clue in there somewhere if you can spot it.

NF isn't currently an automatic choice due to us hitting form. If he can't handle that then we don't need attitudes like that.

The row has been dealt with , Forster is back on side with all including the fans. He's experienced enough to get his head down and play his way back into the team as his reaction in the reserves this week proves.

Non story this

histrionic feminine tone?

sorry mrs f.

will miss nicky... he's been a massive asset to the club. would love to see him stay in a coaching capacity, a shame about the unpleasantness...

won't ever forget his strike against stockport last season, or our consolation when we stood up to the villa that day.

Nothing but a wind up. Some chump somewhere is pissing himself at how the NSC smart arses thinks it really is Nicky Forster posting here (or someone he knows acting on his behalf).

I reckon he's content enough - maybe another one year deal during a promotion/playoff charge next season while he decides what to do with the rest of his life.
