A hood won't solve the problem cos my hair will still get buggered up. Thankfully I was able to see what was going to happen this morning and brought my styling cream into work with me.

Since the weather got worse it has mainly only been women with the umbrellas but as weather has got worse on a few days recently in this part of the world, there has been an increase in men carrying them.

You should see it over here in Japan, it's starts absolutely peeing down and the only umbrellla you can get are the clear plastic slightly camp variety for 500 yen. In rainy season it's also about 30 degrees c most of the time so the hooded jacket isn't an option. Only once do you forget your umbrella in rainy season. Umbrella-knapping from the hook outside other people's apartments isn't unheard of.

Unfortunately many blokes here also ride girls bikes - now that really is :safeway:

Funny you should say that. I'd love to get one of those, I think they're wicked. Probably not quite right for a 26-year-old bloke to be donning though. Besides, it's normally me giving little kids sweets, not the other way 'round.
