"Bury Football Club. NWCFL champions. They closed the gates. Wrote the obituaries. Laughed at the rebuild. But you can’t kill a club built on soul. We rose from the ruins, built by the fans, carried by belief. This is our town. Our club. Our time. This is Bury. This is payback." 💙👏🏆

8,719 fans attended the clubs 4-0 win over Burscough to confirm promotion to the Northern Premier League

👏👏👏👏

I expect Bury supporters look at Brighton fans with disdain - as we looked at Chelsea / Manchester United fans back in the day

This is why the Albion as a Phoenix Club would’ve been so problematic. Gigg Lane is a decent 12500 stadium. We would have had nothing/Withdean! Hereford really was a seismic/existential sliding doors moment.

Brighton fans were very supportive of Bury when they first had troubles. I remember donating to have my name and my son's name on seats at Gigg Lane to help raise funds.
