It was worth going - quite a spectacle and an excellent fireworks display to cap it all.

It was. We were right in front of the main display (sorry we missed you THPP)
The costumes and lanterns were all good but they burnt very quickly once lit.
This particular parade has been going for 11 years now.

It was different but enjoyable, fireworks were very good.
